Napaulée
-
At PRESS Restaurant in the Napa Valley, wine lovers, vintners, and epicureans gathered for the fifth annual Napaulée, an end-of-harvest fête inspired by Burgundy’s cherished La Paulée. This event, described as “the world’s classiest BYOB party,” masterfully blends the warmth of a neighborhood gathering with the refinement of Napa Valley’s iconic wine culture.
An ode to the 1990s
This year’s Napaulée was a love letter to the 1990s, celebrating the decade through both the wines poured and the atmosphere crafted. DJ Vitamix set the mood with a nostalgic soundtrack, as attendees embraced the playful spirit of the era through fresh and fun attire. The walkabout format encouraged guests to wander freely, discovering PRESS’s thoughtfully designed culinary spaces at their own pace.Standout moments included the opulent Caviar Lounge and the lavish Black & White Truffle Room, where indulgence reigned supreme. Guests savored exquisite bites such as lobster rolls topped with caviar, ricotta gnudi crowned with black truffle, and countless caviar bumps perfectly complemented by JCB Caviar Infused Vodka cocktails.
The PRESS x Casa Obsidiana Cantina added flair with creative, specialty cocktails. Multiple bars featured lineups of 1990s vintages, offering a captivating showcase of the decade’s winemaking excellence.

Recognized as Michelin Guide California’s Sommelier of the Year in 2022, Vincent has elevated PRESS’s wine program to new heights. Under his guidance, the restaurant earned its first Wine Spectator Grand Award in 2022—a remarkable achievement, as PRESS is one of only two restaurants globally to receive this honor for a regionally focused wine list. With over 2,700 unique selections spanning more than seven decades, the program provides an unparalleled opportunity to explore Napa Valley’s evolution through its most iconic vintages.A Celebration Rooted in Generosity

From its world-class wine program to its unwavering commitment to community, PRESS creates a space where winemakers, locals, and visitors unite to celebrate the bounty of the valley.
